Description
Golden Chamomile (Chrysanthellum indicum), also known as German Chamomile, Sweet Chamomile, German Daisy, and other names, is a botanical ingredient originating from Europe and now widely distributed across Asia, America, and parts of China. It commonly grows in fields, roadsides, and wastelands at elevations ranging from 0 to 2,000 meters. Belonging to the Asteraceae family, Golden Chamomile is an annual or biennial herbaceous plant with an upright, highly branched stem. Its leaves are pinnately compound, while its flowers feature the characteristic structure of Asteraceae plants, consisting of tubular florets surrounded by white ray florets.
