Description
Giant Kelp Extract Giant kelp originates from the cold Antarctic Peru Current region. The extreme marine environment characterized by low oxygen, low temperature, and high pressure enables it to accumulate abundant stress-resistant active compounds. It is also known as “one of the fastest-growing plants in the world.”
Under suitable conditions, giant kelp can grow 30–60 cm per day and reach a length of more than 50 meters within one year.
The giant kelp selected for Meihujian® MPE is sourced from the national marine ecological experimental zone of China — the Changdao sea area in Shandong Province, located in the Jiaodong Peninsula.
