Description
金钗石斛（Dendrobiumnobile Lindl ）-又称金钗石、扁金钗、为兰科石斛属多年生附生草本植物，因其形似古代妇女头上的饰物-金钗而得名。《本草纲目》中记载:金钗石斛可“强阴益精,厚肠胃,壮筋骨，暖水脏,补肾益力,轻身延年”,《本草衍义》、《本草纲目拾遗》及《本草从新》等历代本草都备加推崇, 素有“千金草”之称；其花型奇特、花色艳丽，具有较高的观赏价值。我国已将其列为珍稀濒危的中药种类之一。
