Dendrobium Nobile Extract (Dendrobium nobile Lindl.) Dendrobium nobile, also known as Golden Hairpin Dendrobium and Flat Golden Hairpin, is a perennial epiphytic herbaceous plant belonging to the Orchidaceae family and Dendrobium genus. It is named after its resemblance to the golden hairpin ornaments worn by ancient women. According to Compendium of Materia Medica, Dendrobium nobile is traditionally recognized for its nourishing and conditioning properties. It has been highly valued in traditional herbal texts, including Ben Cao Yan Yi, Ben Cao Gang Mu Shi Yi, and Ben Cao Cong Xin, and is known as the “Herb Worth a Thousand Pieces of Gold.” With its unique flower shape and vibrant colors, it also has high ornamental value. It is listed as one of China’s rare and endangered traditional herbal species.
